PRESS RELEASE: Author Publishes Fifth Book of Poetry with Thanksgiving Theme

Author-screenwriter-producer Claire Hutchinson has published her fifth volume of Christian poetry entitled: Gratitude: Christian Poetry Volume 5. Filled with poems about why we should be grateful, the volume releases just in time for Thanksgiving.

Hutchinson says, "The book is an encouragement to be thankful for all that Christ has done for us, as our Savior and Lord."

The poems are divided into four sections: 1) "Gratitude," which encourages us to use songs, psalms, prayers, petitions, thanksgiving and quiet time to praise and rejoice in Him in all circumstances, because He is our Lord, Creator, Savior, Provider, and has given us a heavenly kingdom; 2) "Steadfast," which shows us that we need to rejoice in trials because they produce patience; and we must always be ready to obey Him in all circumstances, knowing that He has called us to do His work and share in His sufferings, and we will receive an eternal reward; 3) "The Needs of Others," which urges readers to put the needs of others ahead of their own, even to the point of laying down our lives for others; to be servants, examples to the flock, humble and teachable as Christ would want us to be; 4) "God and His Love," which shows us that we are to trust and obey Him, for His love is deeper than the ocean and it has saved us to the uttermost.
